Tadra in Fijian means dream. For Mike and Helen Waters and their daughter, Araylea, it was a word that befitted their business and home here in the Fiji Islands.

Tadra specializes in floral provisions and wedding planning and consultation. It is a family owned and operated business that was formed back in 1995 and has since grown to include locations in the central business districts of both Nadi and Suva with a kiosk at the Nadi International Airport.

Tadra employs over twenty professionally uniformed staff who are all uniquely trained to service each individual aspect of the business. The Waters’ pride themselves on hiring grass roots people who are trained to become florists, wedding consultants, sales assistants, nursery people, gardeners, carpenters and drivers. Tadra emphasizes a cross-training environment and each person is given an opportunity to assist and familiarize themselves with each area of the business.

Suppliers include men and women from cities, towns and villages across the country. The Waters’ strongly believe in supporting the local economy and providing the training and support necessary to give employment opportunities to those without past experience or education.
